Hello,
I saw weeks ago there is a program that's make contact's photos appear when someone is calling.
Do you have any news about it ?
Thanks !

That's a built-in feature in the Contacts app: in Edit mode of a contact do Options -> Add thumbnail

You have to take a picture of the person (use the portrait option in the camera) and then go into contacts, open the contact of the person you've got the picture for, move onto the image tab (one move to the right) and click options> add image then select the right image. Then when that person calls you, their picture will come up.

The real challenge is making this picture bigger (fullscreen?) when someone calls... 😃

Anyone working on this for S60?

Lee

Hello,
In my case, there is no picture loaded, even if there is a picture in the image tab of the person (in portrait format)
How can I fix it ?
Thnaks...

TheAfrodiziak,you haven't read N/A's post properly.Like he said,just open the contact,the select Options-Edit-Add Thumbnail.

The image in the image tab is not used as a caller id image. If you add an image to the image tab it will do just that, add an image from the person so that you don't forget his face

As for fullscreen caller id images,j2k was working on something like that,i guess he needs more motivation 😊

Ahh right enough, my instructions were incomplete 😊 I've only got one picture in my contacts, and that's Ewan (scary pic! :P) and he's on speed-dial - that automatically puts the picture in.
