viper - a poisonous family of snakes, one of which, the adder, is the only poisonous snake in Scotland. all snakes are lovely (though I'd think twice about cuddling up to a king cobra!)

Used to mean the act of spreading a coloured substance on a wall or another surface. Also the substance itself. Nowadays you can just click with your mouse to add colour to something you have sketched on your screen. Nothing but bytes...

Brush

an electrical device which uses a motor to generate a "vacuum" in a collection chamber. the collection chamber has an intake at one end which "sucks up" any objects in it's path.
