Has anyone converted any full length movies into nims.I would love to try watching nims on my nokia. 😮

I have converted Hackerz into a nim.
It's about 70mb big, but I used standard converting, with multimediaconvertorpro you could spice up the image quality. I guess you could get a very nice and watchable full movie at about 100mb.

I haven't tried it since I need a 128mb mmc first 😊
With 100mb you'll probably could get a movie with specs:
framerate: 10fps
screensize:248x168
quality: 5 maybe 4 (7 is standard decoding on multimedia convertor, 1 is the best quality)

Good luck, let us now if it worked 😊

If i'm not mistaken... N9210(Patrick) or somebody did manage with the movie "SHREK"... just checkout older postings... (few months back...)

I would love to see shrek on my nokia. If realplayer is bad quality why not convert it to nim?Any more info on shrek?

If you get a full movie on 20 mb using current real media technologie, it just can't be good.

Last time It took me 10 hours to convert a full movie to nim, I'll give it a try again in good quality and report back here. If you want it then I'll send it to you.

I have 2 full length movies, 1 nim (Star Wars E1) at 75Mb and 1 REAL (Shrek) at 22Mb. Believe it or not but the Shrek is actually watchable (just), the only problem with it is it won't rewind or F/Forward, so if you are going to watch it make sure you do it uninterupted or keep watching it from the start again 😊

If anyone is intrested in Shrek then let me know.

Can't you put Shrek to your site for downloading? Or would this be illegal? Anyway I would like to have the movie!
Hello Patrick, It would be much appreciated if you could e-mail mke shrek, my e-mail address is [email protected]
😞 I have SAD news for u... hotmail can only take 1MB max... perhaps u got other email???

You are? I wonder where your downloading that from - can't be my website as that's illegal!!! 😉

Shrek is very nearly watchable.for future reference is it possible to make the picture larger and more detailed?(even if the filesize is doubled)

Yup - just converted Monsters Inc & Scooby-Doo 😉 They look quite good - but Pop Video's seem to suit the medium best. 😉

:P Hmmm... monsters inc... interesting... whats the size like???

I have Star Wars EP2 as a RM file and that's 44MB, perfectly watchable and you can just about read the subtitled text when they speak in alien.

Starwars episode 2 you say..... I WANT THIS! How did you manage to convert it into RM?Was it from a dvd?

No it's from a cinema in America by the power of camcorder, it's not out on DVD yet or I'd have bought it already. The sound is scrappy in this copy but that's the recordings fault not the encoding. As for getting it as an RM, I converted the DivX into Intel Indeo 3.2 avi, then converted that to an RM with RealProducer 8.5

to encode video, I use screen width 160 or below (RM is complex to decode at full size, so quarter size it), normal motion video, music as audio, single ISDN streaming rate. It's perfectly watchable, until I put it to fullscreen on my laptop.

hiya...

can anyone send me a full video? Shrek? Star wars? RM or NIM to me is all ok 😉

my e-mail can 60 MB! or 70! [email protected]

thanks 😉

hllo

have anyone a screeshot from "Shrek" on the 9210??? its not work 😞

If you downloaded it from somewhere on the web and it doesn't work on your 9210, make sure the file ext is .RM and not .RAM (Internet explorer will rename .RM's to .RAM).
