Yep, just read the Sony announcement about the 256 & 512MB memory stick duos!!

I really hope I can pop one of those 512MB bad boys in my P800 :P

They better make them work with the p800.Some brands of 256 MB MMC are known to be fuctioning perfectly with the Nokia 3650 for a while and just recently,512 MB MMC's too.

Whoooaaa! I hope they will work! But I have my serious doubts though! Perhaps we'll need a firmware upgrade.

And if it won't work on the P800, we have a good reason for upgrading to the P810 😉 😃

And it gets even better. Lexmark will produce them as well (which might lower the price a bit)! And they claim it has a theoretical maximum capacity of 32GB 😮

Lexmark will start shiping the 256MB's in September, the 512MB's in October

And even more good news. I read on the Dutch website, hardware.info, that SanDisk and Lexmark will make both the normal Duo's (up to 128) and the new Duo pro's

That is great,but i really doubt that the Duo Pro's will work since regular Pro's don't.

Just to repeat Delta737's news, now Infosync are reporting that Sandisk will be releasing Duo's (hopefully) in September, 32 MB to 128 MB, $34.99 USD to $69.99 USD. 😃

hmm - i was going to buy a 128 duo - but now im saving up for a a 10gb mp3 player - maybe ill get the mp3 then around oct ill be able to get a 512 duo!
