Guys, i need ur help, i have a 9210, and i just recently purchased a 64mb sandisk card, im using it right now, so far its been working fine, but im having a problem in playing NIM videos on the video player..whenever i try to play a video, it gives a warning "! Playback Error - Not Found" ...i was just wondering..what might be causing this? is this an error on the memory card? or is it the player?i cant seem to play long videos...what should i do? I just formatted the memory card and re-installed the software from the CD...did i mess anything up?? pls help me...

I had the same problem once.
I uninstalled the video app
rebooted
reinstalled the video app
rebooted
and then finally it worked again.

i did that several times...still not working...wat could it be? any other suggestions? help pls...i have about 2MB free in the device and 47MB free on the memory card..so i guess its not a memory problem...keeps on saying "!Playback Error - Not found"

perhaps you guys should reformat the MMC and then reinstall the All_memory_card_data.SIS... (and most importantly, pls make sure its the right version for your firmware too...) then of course... reinstall the video player... 😉

I really remember that after installation it still didn't work but then after another reboot it did :s

you can try installing it , without removing the old one first.
i tried reformatting the memory card and installing the pre-installed from the cd..but thats the time that it started to have the problem..prior to that, the player was ok..then i inserted the old memory card again to try out the player..it was still ok..but after a while of interchanging cards..both players arent working...wat can it be? im starting to get depressed about this..do you think if i borrow another CD from a friend who has a communicator, and i install his video player..would it work? or is it all the same?

Like i mentioned earlier, u hafta make sure that it's the right one for your firmware... are u using the latest firmware???
im using version 3.62..whats the latest version? maybe i can have it upgraded.
Latest version for 9210 is 4.13 and you can get the upgrade from your local Nokia Support Centre. It should be free if your phone still has warranty.
Question peeps: If I change MMCs, do I have to uninstall all the apps I installed on my old MMC before i place in a new one? I plan to replace my 16MB with a 64MB.
i guess not... but you have to reinstall the right version for the new MMC!!! the version which matched your old ones...
Could an FAQ be created for all the Playback problems to do with NIM Playback as this is a now common occurance that this topic appears.
Possibly a project for someone with better writing ability than me, and who has had more experience of this problem, and see if Rafe will post in main site under Support.
Any Takers On This FAQ???
