wht FW are u on kishor 2.50 or 3.16 ?

PLEASE can someone tell me where i can get a firmware upgrade to 3.16. Everyone is talking about how they've upgraded their phones, and never where or how they did it. I live on the east coast of north america, by the way, if thats any help. Please can someone help, cause im going to get hopefully a 256mb mmc and dont want trouble!

When to the local service center today. Asked for a firmware upgrade.

They did a backup of my phone memory to the MMC.

But hey. what good is it, if the new firmware could not read my MMC formatted with the old FW..

So yes.. Backup on phone is necassery. Be sure you backed it up before you go there. They claimed it took 15 minutes. 1� hour later I was still there. They took a backup of my MMC to their pc and reformatted the card. Then they claimed the card was defect? /sigh

Well they were kind enough to try and copy the data back and also lend me a card I could use til I have purchased a new MMC. But hey. When I came home and tried my old MMC.. it still works (hehe) Time to clean up my phone and Start from fresh I think 😉

I just checked the language settings.. I now have a phone containing 3 different languages.. AND NONE OF THEM IS MY OWN :evil: :evil:

@DaniilShafran The US should have a different FW version. This usually hapens due to some regulations that the FCC likes to complicate matters with.

@Tatus Was this an authorozed SC or just a regular phone shop. Strange Nokia would release a FW to an authorized SC without it being developed for your country. They even have English-Russian-Ukranian version of 3.16 that they are using here in Russia. I would think Denmark would get them quicker then Russia.

Well lets hear what they have to say.. Luckily they have not yet got a dime. So if they do not have the correct languages I am off to an authorized SC then. Thanks for the input kirill 😊
