Just don't forget to remove the Memory Card before the format 😉
And make sure you have enough battery power so the phone does not turn off during the procedure.
Someone posted here to remove the memory card during hard reset, may I know what will happened if the MMC is not remove?

I was wrong,so,probaly it won't do any harm if the card is not removed while a hard reset is performed.
why i try to do the hard reset a thing comes up and it says "lock code" and i have to type in a password or something and i cant get it to reset. ahh please help me.
Remove the memory card refers to the fact that if your MMC is damaged or corrupted the hard reset will do you no good since then you phone will not start up. This way you can start the phone without the MMC. It does not get formatted in the process.
As far as your lock code the default is either 12345 or 00000. If you changed it try to remember it's 5 digits.
