I'm trying to view an image (110k jpg) but run out of memory everytime I try. I've rebooted to make sure nothing else is running,
and even killed everything with Switcher, but it just won't load.
Can anyone here open an image of this size, either in File Viewer or Imaging?
thanks,
Andrew
110k ??? That's a serious big pic.
I've got an 80K one on there at the moment and never had a problem opening it.
If it's not a sensitive piccie, how about uploading it here and I'll see if I can open it in my 9210?
Do you think so? I don't consider it that large... Large would be 250k or above imho..
It deals with 70k without any problems at all - I just need that little bit more... 😞
Andrew
It's just a map of a small part of London - I've attached it for you to try..
Andrew
I strongly recommend GIPVIEWER from Gipex sine that seems to let me view very large images on my 9210.
Bad news... it worked fine in my 9210 with <1Mb memory available (according to switcher)
Hi,
I have edited the map for you by reducing the amount of color...
Not as nice as the original but its smaller in size... try it...
hopefully this will help you...

Thought as much.. it's my phone. I shouldn't have slapped it the other day 😉

Thankyou... you're all very helpfull! 😃
I played around with it myself and eventually converted it to a 16 colour gif, which comes out lovely at about 73k.
cheers,
Andrew

treat is nicely and you get what you want... I guess the 92x0 series has some female characters :P
upponalle: treat is nicely and you get what you want... I guess the 92x0 series has some female characters
--- yeah, i agree... 9210 has its feminine side... a lovely virtual secretary...
Hmms I'm interested now as to how far downhill the "I guess the 92x0 series has some female characters" makes this thread go 😉
I have noticed some non-female characteristics to it, as in it works for a full month without going off in a huff for a week.....
I've opened pornographic images of up to 300k before and never had any problems...
Not sure if that helps anyone but just thought you might like to know...
😃
