is it possible to create another image for the lock function, if you don't know what i mean a screenshot is attached
thanks

See topic 'Lock Screen question',if you think of the same. It hasn't been answered up to now. 😉

I believe the image is in z:\system\apps\autolock\AutoLock.mbm, this is the ROM though so you cant change it there but, you may be able to change it by having c:\system\apps\autolock\AutoLock.mbm, maybe it will look there first?

FYI

mbm was the image format used on the Psions, I have a converter that will convert a gif/jpeg to mbm format. Will have go.

You never know!

Wow, my lock is completely different. I get my standby screen with a little key icon next to the bluetooth icon (upper right). My FW is 2.50 with English, Russian, and Ukrainian.

The lock you are referring to Krill is the Keylock. The Phone lock (which is what is being discussed here) is different to the one offered when you close the keypad.

I believe (although don't use often) that the Phone Lock is accessible from power key menu.

that's right! Unlike the key lock, the phone lock won't give you instructions on how to unlock the phone, but ask you what the security code is. you'll still get incoming calls that you can answer or not, but you cannot use the phone in any other way.
Never thought of it as a useful tool... =\\\

Sorry about the confustion. Got the same pic as well.

Now about changing it most likely the pic is read from ROM and there is no way without very specific hardware to write to that memory.

I'm sure an app that can replicate the functionality of the phone locker can be easily programmed, but it's something else to run in the background and eat up more RAM :-?

ram is not a problem for me the only thing use use that takes much ram is bounce and even that won't take that much ram so i have enough ram for apps like this 8)

thanks but the file dousn't work i extrat all files to a folder opened the test and exe file and nothing happened :-?
