Hi,
How can I send an MMS to an email address that is not associated to any contact? I dont want to use the Email option, as I dont have GPRS only for MMS.
Also, when I check the email content of the MMS, the text that I had typed appears as an attachment in Hotmail and does not appear at all in case of Yahoo. Is this a problem with the operator or the Phone?
Cheers,
CJ
All you have to do is specify an email address in the "To" field when composing the mms. In order to write letters instead of numbers, press the ABC button to switch to ALPHA mode! 😊
Cool!!!! I've had the phone for a year now and i never knew that!!!!
Thanks mate,
CJ
Note, though, that your operator might not be forwarding MMS to email (up to what they've set up on their MMS Center system; there might even be MMSC software that doesn't support it in the first place).
So, try. If it works, you're all set. If it doesn't, ask your operator why.
I tried it and it works just fine. Only one problem. It works well with Hotmail and Yahoo, though the text that I type in the MMS come as attachments. It DOES NOT work with office accounts at all.
What do you guys think might be the problem? Some settings on the phone or operator choosing which email addresses are allowed!!!
