Your have 3 options
1. Uninstall the last App that you had installed and restart.
2. Soft Reset (Restore Factory Settings).
3. Hard Reset *#7370#
Warning!!! Make sure that the phone is fully charged and connected to the charger when doing a hard reset. You will lose all your personal data but the phone will be as good as when you bought it.
Hope this helps.

Pardon my ignorance, but why must the phone be fully charged and connected to the charger(power supply) when doing a hard reset?
Hard Reset consumes a lot of power and god forbid but if you're phone were to die during this process, you may as well throw your phone into the dustbin.

Learnt something new today... 😊 Thanks.

yes this code works with 3650.
can somebody tell me what this code really do or should i try this code.....are there any damages???..what is the correct method to apply...........???
sorry for being so concious.... i am afraid to do so.....so first i have to know all about this code....coz if one software can corrupt my phone then some code can kill my mobile too.... 😮
it has been explained alot of times allready on this forum.
*#7370# is the code to format your phone. Everything installed on your phone memory and all data (phonebook, calendar, etc.) will be deleted and your phone will be in the same state as when you got it out of the box. It shouldnt hurt your phone.
all *#????# codes are nokia engineer codes for sorting out problems. they shouldn't damage your phone but there are risks.
if you look http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum//forum/thread/21458/" rel="nofollow">HERE there's a guide to codes on the 6600. i think they pretty much apply to the 7650 as well.

Hello Everyone!
I have a big problem.. How can i restore my nokia to factory settings 7650 using a pc? what tool can i use? O ya, i can't use the code thingie coz my phone wont even boot.. the cause: MEMORY FULL.. :frown:
There is nothing you can do using a PC. Find your nearest Nokia service/repair center.
I had lost the ability to add new contacts to my address book, in fact I lost all my contacts. I called Nokia, the dude told me to take it to a service centre. Right, anyway I wanted to try a few things before deciding on taking it toi get "fixed", I tried doing a factory reset via the menu, it didnt work. Tried adding contacts via PC Suite, didnt work. Took the battery out for an hour.. didnt work.. Then, I came across this thread I typed the number in, reset the phone and now everything is fine! THANKS a billion!!!!! - Paula Nicholson
