My friends 3650 won't start up, it lights up and the nokia symbol comes up then fades away, and this keeps repeating 'till u switch it off. Any help? Anyone had this same problem?

Does it do the same (or something else) without the MMC installed?
Does it do the same (or something else) if you keep the pencil key pressed down when you power on?
If neither helps, have it repaired.
Also try booting without the SIM card and then with it again. Heard it helped a couple of people.
Nah, it doesn't seem to have worked, I doubt he's going to have to put it back to be repaired, it's knd of odd, cause I have one too and I haven't had the bother he seems to have had.
Had the problem to - mine had to be shipped to nokia for a deep firmware/software flash. (not the standard software update)
kind of funny to read this. i bought a 3650 last thursday. on sunday night, this happened. i called at&t monday, & i had a replacement tuesday morning. i used the new phone for 23 hours, before it had the same problem. got a new one today. i'm hoping this one will last longer.
with both of mine, i tried with/with different/without SIM & MMC. also tried manual reset (pencil/power) all with no success. i just had to call & get a new one.
