anybody heard of a radar detector application for nokia 9210??
Something that sort of turns your phone into a radar detector? I can't seem to find anything of the sort?
Is it even possible?

Why you can't find anything of the sort is because there isn't anything of the sort.
If there is no radar detector electronics & other components in the phone (and there isn't), there is no software magic that could turn the phone into one.
There is no way that the phone cellular network radio, infrared receiver or anything else could do double duty in detecting radar detector signals (regardless of whether they're radio, audio or laser based).
So, buy a real one, or better yet, drive according to the speed limits (safer that way for you and especially so for others on the roads).
nokia cheat sites say if you set your closed usergroup to 00000 then your fone should pick it up but i've never tested it.
