T610 vs 3650

I just found out that the Sony has 65536 colours and Nokia has 4096. But how come on my mums T610, the pic quality seems worse than my 3650?

Pic quality of what?

Are you comparing the exact same picture or different pictures?

If different, what's the origin of those (the phone's respective cameras or somewhere else)?

What's the pictures' resolution, number of colours, [file] format?

In other words, there are more factors that influences how good a picture seems to a human than the phone's display.

So, if you take the picture that doesn't look good in your mother's T610, send it to your 3650, does it look just as bad or better now?

If you do vice versa, send the picture you think is good on a 3650 to the T610, does it look even better there?

Not to mention that the resolution of the T610 pictures is much lower then the one of the 3650 ones.

I took a couple of pics on a T610, transferred it to the computer via BT. Its now a JPG.

They are of different images but overall the the 3650 seems much clearer. I found out that the T610 has more colours, but i think this just means on the actual display, (nokia: 4096 T610: 60000 something). Was wondering which is the better camera then?
Because it seems like the 3650 but want to know if this is a fact. A guy in a shop told me the T610 has much better picture quality from camera.

The T610 camera can take 288 x 352 pixel (so called CIF resolution) or 120 x 160 pixel (QQVGA) pictures in 24-bit colour depth (16 million colours) and stores them as JPEG format files. I.e., one could say it is a "0.1 megapixel" camera.

The 3650 camera does 640x480 (so called VGA resolution) pixel pictures with 16 million colours & JPEG format. I.e., one could say it is a "0.3 megapixel" camera.
