Wasn't aware that Smaegol is evil?
Distorted and subverted by his exposure to the Ring,
cunning born of desperation,
and enough fear for a whole Italian tank brigade,
but not evil in the way that, say, Sauron is.

Witchking is the leader of the Nazguls (Ringwraiths, Black Riders). According to the legend, the 9 rings given to men-lords and in return, they were enslaved by Sauron.
Under Witchking, there is Khamul and 7 other Nazguls.
These can be found in LOTR's appendices and also Tolkien's "Unfinished Tales".
Dunno whether Witchking will be in ROTK or not. Have to wait.
Nazguls.... It's always seem to me that the Nazguls were all too cool!!!! Man in black, dead man on dead horse.

RingWraiths are dead, the horses were real - but they were bred in the Dark Lord's stables so as to be accustomed to the evil presence of the wraiths.
Not sure whether Nazgul refers to the wraiths or their flying creatures....
Chip - indeed I had forgotten that about the leader of the ringwraiths, but I remember now. Was it aragorn who said something about it when explaining who they were to the hobbits? or maybe not...
He should definitely be in ROTK - he plays a big role in the battle of the Palxxxxxx fields.
does sauron take a on a humaniod form in rotk? you know, like he was at the start of the fellowship when he was defeated? i'm asking cause i haven't seen the trailers or read the books.
Le great book did not mention about the dark lord take on human form and fight. But... perhaps Peter Jackson may tweak it a little, perhaps we may seem Souron face to face in the last book.😕
