yeah hey, ive had my fone for like a couple weeks now and only just found out i could use one of those IrDA adapters to upload stuff onto my fone, anyways i uploaded a wav. file onto my fone and i cant find it...i put it in a folder on my MMC and it says theres on 1 item in the folder but when i open it up, theres nothing...
anybody know what im supposed to do or how to find it? im using PC suite btw as well...
soz if its been asked heaps

another thing, it works fine when i put it straight into my phone memory, but when i upload through PC suite to my MMC it doesnt work...

Maybe I can help you, although I am a newbie my self... 😃

Download and install a File Explorer on your Phone like for Example FExplorer.
Its a really usefull toll, cause you can handle youre files in the same way you do on your Windows-maschine!
Maybe someone can give you a link...

oh ok cool as, ill just do a search for it or something, thanx for thew info i seen ppl talkin bout it, but thought it wouldve been juss like PC suite...
but yeah thanx for the feedback

DID YOU TRY LOOKING IN THE RECORDER APP ON YOUR PHONE? .WAV FILES SHOULD BE ROUTED THERE BY YOUR PHONES SOFTWARE. IT SHOULD ALSO BE IN THE RINGTONES SECTION OF YOUR PROFILES. WHEN UPLOADING .WAV FILES MAKE SURE THEY ARE ROUTED TO E:\SOUNDS\DIGITAL
THIS SAVES THE FILES TO THE SOUND FILES ON YOUR MMC.

oh ok thanx...
when i upload videos onto my phone theres 2 folders called "videos" and "images" when i look thru PC suite, i tried making another folder and when i put the wav. file in it didnt show up...
plus is there supposed to be 4 drives on "FExplorer"?
they are : C: - <flash>, D: - <ram>, E: - <disk> and Z: - <rom>..
when i look in E: there was only images, _PAIbTN, SYSTEM and Videos folders...am i supposed to make the "sounds" file u mentioned? and will it then be able to go onto my MMC instead of the phone memory?

the E: directory in FExplorer is your mmc. when you enter the E: directory using FExplorer are you sure there is not a sounds folder?

nah i had to create it...
but i think i figured it out...:thumb:
thanx for the feedback

If you used a new MMC I would recommend you format ist first...
this also makes you all the needed Dirs on your MMC.

I didnt do it on my new 64MB MMC and I had problems installing programms on it...
