Hi
probably im gonna return my N3650. There is too many missed things in this phone. I know there is a lot of features on the machine, but for me, the basic things are...inexistent. Like, a:
. search mode on calendar - how can i trust taking appointments on calendar, if later, i need to find a specific appointment, and i have to remember the date!!! all PDA, even the basic ones have this feature.
. acessories-when ive put the phone on my car, handsfree kit, the light goes off, and i have to unblock and block the keys. In other Nokia phones this is made automaticly. We just have to configure the car handsfree mode. In this N3650, the acessories configurations are just....horrible. The problem with the light, i solved, by installing sprofiles and configure the program to turn the light on every time the phone is charging. Another problem, the phone only works with hansdfree kit, when i first turn ON the car.
. sound - to hear my phone, i have to make a trick, that i find in this forum. Turn ON the vibrate mode. But ive never used vibrate mode, because, it makes me nervouse..that strange noise in top of a table. But i have to live with that, if i want to hear my phone ringing, otherwise, i cant hear even when in my hand (Nokia!! shame on YOU!). An example, in my work i use a profile mode Pager. Ive put it only to make a simple BEEP, nothing more. With my old Nokias (configured the same way), even when im not in my room, i can hear it. With N3650, the phone on my side, i cant hear a damn thing.

Conclusion: after all that programs made by other persons or companys, there are not even one, that made basic utilities for the machine faults. The phones has good things, but for me, there is basic/fundamental errors, and i cant find a way to solve them.

I wouldn't blame the phone for that problem if i were you mate. I've got the same phone as you and there's no chance in hell you could not hear it ring or the message alarm. I've made the WAV files so bloody loud that I've received a few complaint letter from the dead saying it keeps waking them up. 😉

For editiding wav files, you can use some audiot editing program like Windows Sound Recorder or something more proffessional like Sound Forge. For midi's try PsmPlayer.
