I think his point is not these.
N-gage is a mediocre product. Surely it cannot compete as a portable gaming device, even if it is superior to Game boy (Advanced-SP) it hasn't the variety of games and even worse, more competitors are coming...

But if we see the phone side again we have the same thing. there are far superior phones or even smartphones and if Nokia is going to release the new 3660 and it has the same prize with 3650 then things will get even worse. And about the prize... Surely it is cheap... but really how cheap it is?
The hardware used is outdated while a major advanced of the previous Nokias s60 devices is missing (the camera)...
And even now its price is very close to the price of 3650 (though 3650 doesn't have a radio/mp3 and stereo output)

oh one more thing. Derailing a thread is considered as a trolling in many other forums. I guess not here. This thread was about dust under screen, not about GBA being superior to N-Gage or not.

it's being released in japan soon. i think it also has video calling.

Oh,an adapter.You can use a Bluetooth headset or just a regular handsfree if you don't want look like a weird frizby accident when talking 😊

No one said that the N-Gage is a GBA killer.

And if your self-esteem is really fragile, you can use N-gage normally. If you turn the volume all the way up, you can hear the speaker quite ok. Of course the sound quality isnt as good as possible because the speaker isnt pointing directly in to your ear but hey, atleast you dont have to be afraid that you get picked on at school by nasty bullies. If the place has really loud background noice it might not work as well but it worked quite good when I was driving in my car.

I tried the n-gage today and I managed to hear a call fine without having to hold it sideways... its possible to keep it quite close to the ear without using it sideways!!

jimmy ur sad 32bit gfx on an n gage rule! pissis all over gba, i have a gba and the gfx were never as good as the n gage!i love my n gage plus u can download emulators to play roms 2 ...snes nes megadrive gb gba etc whadda ya say to that??? can u even afford the phone??? i got it from my gf she paid 275 GBP 4 it wiv 4 games (which are all amazing)if u cant afford it dont buy it but dont slate it either, its a revolution mate mp3, radio, movie player and yes u can get 1 gig cards for it so u can watch divx, xvid files all on the move aswell as storing roms imagine having 500 snes roms and emu all in ur pocket or even 100 gba games?? could U carry all of them wiv u I DONT THINK SO!!

Yes,i know about this one,it can't compete with N-Gage's phone abilites.It not wireless and its limited to GBA users only.

i only just brought a gba advance and tv tuner last month and i wish id never bothered. had i sat down and thought about wat the ngage offers i wud of placed a deposit on an ngage and got it the day it came out.
The ngage kicks ass in comparison to gba. it wont be long until wildpalm announce a new gba emulator with bluetooth gaming. which will put gba straight out the window. already we can play gbc games which for me is good enough and also use it to make fone calls, access the net, watch films, listen to music, download games and applications and possibly take photos all which the gba cant do. in my personal opinion gba's are the biggest loada $h1t.

cus i work for a phone shop i got quite alot of discount but we charge �49.99 for the phone on contract (which we always give away for free)

i got free phone with a �16 pm contract, free snowboarding and sonic game, free 32mb memory card and a jabra bluetooth headset (which isnt compatiable with it 😞 )

I visited a local Nokia representaive and thier price is 344 euros,which is cheaper but still a lot higher then the announced 299 dollars.

344 euros=403 dollars.

i got mine for australian 500 which is 100 cheaper than original price..

you dont have to hold it on the side...

u can hold it normally (ie keypad on ur ear) but u hav to turn the volume up to hear whoever ur talkin to.

I think the N-Gage games probably suck so far. Sonic - how
are you supposed to know what is coming towards you? Tomb Raider? - Its bad enough playing FPS on a normal TV/Monitor (Our eyes see almost 180 degrees) let alone seeing even less. Monkey Ball might be good, and Virtua Tennis. I dont think people should waste their time making FPS's on handhelds....FPS's are as much about atmosphere as games - there aint no atmosphere on a 1.5 inch screen.... Perfect for puzzle games...

-Developers spend very little time play testing handheld games. Expecially direct ports...

I got one now - I think its an ok phone - and no other phones have the 3d ability yet - but they will - making it GAME specific might have been a mistake. New phones come out every month. It will soon be superseded..

The GBA/SP has about 1 year left before it ends up in droves at second hand shops/bargain-basements... The sony handheld will probably blow them both out of the water - they dont make mistakes. Sony know what they are doing - I dont think Nokia or Nintendo do anymore. But I can make my own games on the N-Gage...That means there will probably be thousands of homebrew retro imitations... An online version of Elite would be nice too....

Apparently,it can use MMC's above 128 MB.Search the forum.

you can use the radio through loudspeaker but you have to plug in a headset whether it be handsfree or the adapter to use normal headphones then you select options and activate loudspeaker this function is quite the nifty

Radio:
You CAN listen to radio via loudspeaker.
BUT you have to plugin the headset to have an antenna, else you cant receive anything😉 😉
