I am a little disappointed by the amount of 7650/3650 software that does not work on the 6600. Here's my list - please add yours.

Tennis Addict - Works
Agile Messenger - Works
IM+ Works (but I can't get it to connect to MSN yet).
Active Today - Fails
Active Desk - Fails
Active Mail - Fails
Today View - Works
Doris Browser - Part Works
Net Front - Works
Email Viewer - Works
PDF + Works
ITraffic - Fails
AnotherDayAndMore - Fails
Diamond Game - Fails

yea lets get this thread started. its really needed now. y does ETI Camcorder not work and how bout smart launcher does that work ?

Here are some other software that worked in the 6600:
PsiLoc eFile Manager
PsiLoc sDoubler
AppMan
World Clock Pro
SmsMachine
Mobibook Reader (when installing, it gives a warning that it may not work but I installed it anyway and so far, it works fine).

What doesn't work:
MP3Go
Photographer
MP3 Player
(I wrote an email to the makers of the above 3 software and was told that 6600 compatible versions are coming out in a week or two).
ETI Camcorder Pro...haven't heard from the software maker if a compatible version is coming out or not.

I've spoken to several authors, all of whom have said they are working or already have 6600 specific versions if necessary. I'll try and do a bit more digging and find out more.

Hi, did you install the MP3 player on the phone memory or the MMC?
ive installed it on the mmc...if you want the app send me your email ok??or better yet let me upload it here....

Admin Note:
Attachement removed, no illegal software please.

It doesn't work...kept on giving me the "app closed" error message. The one I downloaded from Handango installed and opened ok...it even went thru the process of searching for MP3 files in the card (I put one file in just to check out the program) but the program would seem to just "hang" after I hit the play button.

I have a number of apps installed on my 6600 - all on memcard!

To my big surprise WorldClock Pro does install - but the alarm faeture does not work...... quite irritating since it's my wakeup alarm!

World clock pro works....I use it as my alarm too!
MP3 player works in my phone now....I think my problem was that the MP3 file that I placed in the MMC card to test the program was corrupted, now I have deleted the file and installed the songs via MMC card reader and the program works. Of course, the listening experience isn't great (but tolerable with handsfree headset).
ETI Camcorder Pro now works as well...cool!

thats weird some apps work on others 6600 and some dont....eti camcorder doesnt work on mine

I bought the program from Handango...installed it on my phone but it kept on asking me to input my reg code even though I put in the code the Eyemail.com folks gave me...I emailed their support department and they helped me thru the whole thing...now it is working perfectly!

I installed ETI Camcorder pro in the MMC. Initially, it kept on asking for the reg code when I try to "record" a video...so I was never able to take it for a "test drive" but I bit the bullet, went ahead and bought the program from Handango. It turned out to be one of the best software I have bought for my N6600. Anyway, try to write and email to eyemail, they might be able to help you.

Devman for Series 60 now works on the Nokia 6600!
(v2.02)

A trial version can be gotten from Handango or my-symbian...

Hi all,
I'm having trouble with BlogPlanet(MIDlet). I just emailed the developer, to see if he could look into it.

probably to do with MIDP 2.0...
