Have any one tried this JAVA base web viewer on 7650 ? And does it work ?. :-?

I've tried to use it but with no luck. It comes with 2 files, one is WebViewer.jar and the other is WebViewer.jad. What's the different? And which one should I install ? (Well I've tried both, but still does not work 😞 )

you need to install both of them (jar and jad)
When I installed one, and try to install the other ... it says that it's already installed. :evil: annoying, and I'm just about to buy it. Grrrr.

I installed the .jar file and it works perfectly. Note that there's a new version 1.6 just out, that's better than the previous.

To what file to install on 7650 😮ops: :
I believe that the 7650 will accept either the .jar or the .jad. If the
phone says that WebViewer is already installed, then you're probably all
set as far as installation goes.
And to the error I was getting 😮ops: :
Make sure your connection settings are for normal Web access rather than
WAP access. Also check that your gateway is properly configured (in Tools
-> Settings -> Connections -> Connection addresses) according to the
documentation from your carrier. Some users have found that entering
0.0.0.0 as their gateway IP address works.

😮ops: Don't worry, you're not the only one to have made this mistake. Reqwireless were very polite in pointing out the error of my ways.
I must say thought that this application is very impressive, very fast and just wow! I can even view these forums on it.... how cool is that!?
😉 I installed it just so that I can show to my friend .. ("Mr. My Handspring Treo 180 is better than your 7650 because I can surf the web"😉 ... that 7650 can too 😃 and with a little more extra.

Got to agree with you about service at Reqwireless Inc.. They replied my mail within 5 mins 😮
Works without problems, but can't open some comlex pages with many frames.
Try to install .jar file.

I think it's a great add for N7650.
I wish there are option for saving pictures and for full screen browsing.
