Anybody got Orange Line2 on their phone? I've got 2 lines on my SIM, but if you try to call the second line from say a BT landline you get number unobtainable. Pop the SIM in my old Nokia 6610 and it works fine...

Also, I've just noticed that I'm not recieving any notifications if somebody leaves me a voicemail message - does anybody else get this too?

the 6600 supports dual IMSI

what you can do is try to check your sim's voltage. you might need to upgrade you sim to a lower voltage.

I don't get voicemail notifications on my 6600 either. With my contract sim inserted I do get the option to select a ringtone for Line 1 and 2 with my PAYG sim I don't. I don't currently subscribe to Line 2 but I once did.

I've had the same voicemail notification problems with my 3650, until last month, when Nokia finally released an updated firmware which correctly supported the method Orange use (Class 0 SMS voicemail notification) - it's not easily new, they had to fix it on the 7650 too, then the 3650, and now again with the 6600 - you would have thought they had learnt by now.

As for Line 2, Nokia's response (at least for the 3650) is that you only get Line 2 support if you buy the phone from Orange. LogoManager can't enabled Line 2 on the Symbian phones, although I am aware of a utility that claims to enable Line 2 on all DCT4 phones (including the Symbian models) but no one has actually tried it (and given I would need a data cable as well, it's something I've not yet done).

Strangely, with the latest 3650 firmware, the software can tell me which line has voicemail (by only filling in the first or second spool) but I still can't actually use line 2.

here in the phils, you can't. smart supports dual IMSI, but ONLY strictly for their top employees and engineers...

With regards to firmware updates, how do I get them onto my phone?
Firmware updates can only be applied by a Nokia Service Centre. However, in most countries these offer a fast turnaround (24 hours or less) and you can walk in to your local one and collect the phone (saving time posting).
