It does exist. I just followed the link. Maybe you need to be a member of my-symbian in order to see it?

2 - Connect phone . Wait until it connects properly then re-enable the Firewall.
At least that works for me
Brilliant !! not sure if it was just that, but it works now !! Cheers it seems so simple and im sure i must have already tried it but ???
I spent about 12 hours in total, uninstalling and hacking the registry etc. I guess what i did to get it working was to get all the latest S/W from sony completly uninstall all the old crap including the dss driver, then removed all entrys (sony & Dss) from registry deleted all sony files from program files.
Then installed all new sony software, rebooted, connected the usb cradle only (no phone) let it do its thing, you might have to find the DSS drivers if the install didnt work properly.
Then in xp device mgr set the semc dss port (com4) to 115200 - 8 - None - 1 - None.
And my phone (P910i) to the same - NOT CONNECTED YET !!
Double click on the sony connection arrow in your systray, set the usb to the same com port mine (Com 4).
So all the sony S/W is all reinstalled fresh, the connection settings are set the same.
Now disable all your firewall and internet security inc XP Firewall.
Then with both fingers crossed, and a box of luck on your head, connect your phone to the usb cradle, wait a sec --
Wow the new phone wizard started - set up with glee 😃
let it sync, now reenable firewall stuff and your good to go.
Goodluck everyone - and what a cool phone ehh, the only downside is im scared im going to get mugged now
