I have a few questions about the Nokia 6600 and T-Mobile..
1. When will it be released on T-Mobile?
2. Price?
3. Does T-Mobile support WAP 2.0?
I have been quoted a release date of around xmas and a price of ~�175 on upgrade.

6600 on T-Mobile UK
The retail price of the phone is �229.99 though an individuals upgrade price varies according to their upgrade allowance, we don't have a specific release date as yet though will be some point in december i think. T-mobile supports wap 2.0
So there won't be any problems with WAP, GPRS or MMS on the T-Mobile network? Are the other UK networks WAP 2.0 compliant?
The problem actually lies with the 6600's use of a new TCP/IP stack for data transfer rather than WAP 2.0 which has been used in handsets previous this one.
In the UK Orange and O2 have already updated their GPRS system by simply adding a proxy server to the network. Vodafone have also done this although unofficially. I'd imagine T-mobile have too as the person above seems to work for them.
As it stands there are problems sending and/or receiving MMS in the UK for some people. I don think anyone has pinned it down to anyone aspect of the settings yet.
As long as GPRS works alrite 😊 Just waiting for 6600 to be released on T-Mobile UK.
