right, at celluloco u gotta pay 1000$ + the fedex shipping costs... very expensive...

I think expansys will be my best bet, straight from Italy to the UK 😃

I hope expansys manage to get hold of some original Sendo ones though, I don't fancy one of them TIM versions 😡

i really don't care if there's the sendo or the tim emblem on it... the main thing is the phone... 😃

It sounds like the holy grail of smartphones. Hope Sendo keep producing loads of cool addons for it. Hope it is bought by almost everyone. Hope it is easy to develop for. Hope most if not all existing software is compatible with it. Sendo please answer my hopes and dreams!!!😕

It's using the same base Symbian OS as the 3650 (v6.1) albeit with a few Sendo additions. So all programs that work on 3650 should work, and all development will be practically identical

I sold my P800 for the nokia 6600, then a few days ago i read the specs about this phone...

I have just one question now....how much wil it cost...??
Does anybody have a clues what the price is or will be? (in holland).

Why?

First I had an REVO and an nokia 3650...then the REVO began to hard reset al the time (wiping al my data...)
So I thought if had an P800 I would have an:
- PDA
- Phone
- MP3 player

...so far so good....NOT...

• the P800 drains battery like i have never seen before...
• the screen takes on dust like metal on magnets... even beneath the touch screen!?!? AND beneath the brando screen protector...very weird!!
• text input is really shite (for me)... (slow. clumsy little software keypad and slow text recognition)
• the keypad which on the P800 only works in contact with the touch screen
• I found myself wanting a FULL functionality of a PDA (Ipaq, sharp zaurus, Tungsten...) AND a phone...but the P800 just can't do it...sorry guys...
• the cost of an memory stick duo...djeeez....
• you have to be careful with such an apparatus...so i bought an krussel leather case fore it...works fine!...it protects the phone very good!...but it makes the P800 even bigger...
• the stylus tend to get lost very quickly... (the p900 does it better in this department)
• I like to play games on my mobile phone, but i can not play games on the P800 using my keypad (and upper part of the screen)...sure stylus based games are fun but games forced to be played a stylus doesn't work well for me...
• P800 only memory stick duos 128 mb or smaller work on it...(there have been reports of 256 memory stick duos working but at an stability cost...)

First i was very excited...when I got my p800...but i wasn't using it to my full potential like (i was doing more on my psion REVO!!)

Then came my decision to go back to my "old system" phone and PDA... now i have an Ipaq and "old" phone (nokia 7110)...damn...it really works better for me...

You'll probably have read / heard some other people selling their P800 because they just didn't like it...i know that a few of the reasons must be from which I explained earlier in this post....sounds a bit crazy...but don't get blinded by the P800 / 900 ...

(these where my reasons and don't have to apply to every one...for a lot of people it really works out...but not for me...and even if the P900 came out...it just looks to much like the P800 for me...)

I thought a phone with a NORMAL keypad, normal size, blue tooth, camera, extra memory slot for pictures and games would work for me so hence my need for an nokia 6600....but a few days ago i read the specs of the Sendo X ....

sendo has now been authorised for the ce approval, ce-nr. 0168. (not yet updatet on the website...)

sendo will be available in italy, for telecom italia mobile customers at 17th of december.

release in uk, asia, usa and australia in january 2004

release in germany, holland, france and scandinavia is march 2004.

no release in austria, luxembourg and switzerland planned so far...

...gotta buy it in italy... 🙄

I think ordering (pre ordering) in: http://www.expansys.fr/product.asp?code=108279 will be your best bet ... but you have to buy it (sim free off course) or wait and get it whith a provider...

waiting is not my strongest point though....
