Tools>settings>acess points

you need to make an access point called "O2 Mobile Web"

in it you need the following

Connection name:O2 Mobile Web
Data Bearer:GPRS
Access point name:mobile.o2.co.uk
username: mobileweb
prompt password: No
Password: password
authentication: normal
Homepage: http://pda.o2.co.uk/

OPTIONS>ADVANCED SETTINGS

phone IP:Automatic
primary:0.0.0.0
secondary:0.0.0.0
proxy:193.113.200.201
port:0

Tools>settings>GPRS

connection:when needed
access point: mobile.o2.co.uk

=====
for programs like agilemessenger choose "O2 Mobile Web" as the access point when asked.
=====

Now the email. You need to have set up your email account in the

Messages>options>settings>email>mailbox>options>new mailbox

Now set the mailbox as follows

Messages>options>settings>email>mailboxes> "xxxx" (the email "mailbox name" account you set up)

Access point in use: O2 Mobile Web

If any one knows how the working settings for O2 MMS please post them!!!!
I have tried loads of settings from various sources, none seem to work. (I read a rumour that you cant have both MMS and Mobile web activated on your SIM card at the same time).

That was the case but its been resolved now (was fixed back in April '03).

As for the settings above, if you find that they don't work, you will need to have MobileWEB activated on your account. To have your account provisioned, simply use the "Contact Us" link from www.o2.co.uk 's help pages.

Pre-pay customers cannot used Mobileweb. Your GPRS usage is limited to WAP, although that is likely to change once multiplayer over GPRS, N-gage games are launched next spring.

Yeah you can have both, however you have to ring the help desk to activate both on your sim. I had too.

Takes the piss really, you buy a multimedia camera phone and then you have ring up o2 to get the MMS activated, when it should be sold with it as standard.
