camera quality is VGA like many phones already released.. if u've played with some of those before, its probably around the same quality

I have tested one for just a few seconds, in a small stand in an Italian exposition.
For what I have seen, it's really nice! Small but comfortable, the keyboard is good for me (I don't know why 3g gave such a comment), the brightness of the screen is a little bit low, not a problem but not so bright as Nokia 6600.

In the model I have seen (TIM brand) the TIM logo was almost everywhere.. isn't sim-locked but you have to use it with TIM logo inside the menu's...

I hope I will get one for this week so I'll post a complete test

One more thing,i've heard that saparate co-processor boosts the framerate of the video recorder so we can expect a lot better videos from the X then from other Series 60 devices.It also helps with games and the viewfinder - makes them more fluent and faster.

Lets hope the Sendo X lives up to it's specification.

Yeah, it has a dedicated graphics chip, the viewfinder runs smoothly at 30fps 😃

On a serious note:

Does the graphics coprocessor really improve:
- picture taking (improved picture processing speed?)
- better movies?
- faster games / better quality games?
- has the battery a longer working time than the P800?

Are there any pictures on the net yet of what the image quality is like? Say, one indoor with flash and one outdoor? The p800 has this odd way of blurring out everything on the edges of the image.

i hv nokia 6600. i was trying to send a tone someone esle hd sent me to a friend thru bluetooth, but i didnt get tht option of sending. does anyone hv an idea hw do i send it. i cant contact the guy who sent to me to ask. i hv the sound file stored in my phone memory in the digital sounds folder. it would be great if anyone could reply soon. thnx

Try using a file manager like FExplorer.You might even need to rename the extension because of DRM and some other manufacturer imposed limitations.

Hi Will,

The Sendo X does have a smoked cover on the screen, so it is a bit darker anyway. I think it is slightly darker than a 6600.

The screen settings are however VERY configurable, allowing up to 5 minutes before the backlight goes out (VERY handy compared to other S60 units), and quite a few brightness modes. Screen captures below:

Does a graphics coprocessor work? - absolutely! unbelievably so - I was in a bar with a guy who had an sx1 and his camera showed so little as to be pretty useless. The Sendo was fine and autoadjusted it's lightlevels really accurately.

I think it rocks - I can take it into meetings and take notes on the keyboard and email them to myslef and they are back at my desk before I am.

The mp3 playback is fine - though it does take a while to suck them off your pc.

use a MMC/sd card reader, it takes seconds to put an mp3 on it 😉

where did you get the keyboard?

i had nokia 3650 and the quality of the pictures taken by 3650 were much better ,and with sx1 are even more better .
i hope the new firmware will improve quality .
