dead pixels

Hi guys,
I would like to know, how Nokia proceed if a phone with even one dead pixel is claimed.
Pls advise, if Nokia in your country replase(swap) the phone with new one or they try to repair the display with dead pixel/s( as I know this is not possible).

Nokia has said that they wont replace any phones with dead pixels.

i got my N7650 last year and have a dead pixel, not one, but lots of them! i just like a flare on the upper left corner of my screen, you can see it by using a black background, but no luck to be change by nokia here in the philippines

i believe their policy is 3 dead pixels within the first few months of purchase warrants a free repair/exchnage of phones, and then for the next 1 year of warranty, it is to their diescretion. If you can prove it is a fualt and not screen damage (from dropping) they should repair it.

At last I got my display replaced, but not at a nokia point. Nokia points told me they repare only displays with at list 4-5 dead pixels 😱

I went to a Nokia laboratory (where actually nokia points send phones in order to have them repaired) and they replaced my display (1 dead pixel) FOR FREE and in 20 minutes. 😊

I found the phone number of the laboratory because it was in the official list of Nokia assistance numbers
