WHY !??!
WHY only 4096 colors (8 bits), when so many fones outta there have 65k(16 bits) and they are not made for games.
This really is a BIG fault for the N-Gage...
I mean tis a big difference between 4096 and 65000 is it not ?
Tell me what do you think !
The ones who have an N-Gage.. how is the clarity ?
Is P900 a better deal ?
Mike
I personally prefer 4096 to 65k. If any of you have seen the SE T610, the picture qulaity is well naff cus the screen isnt big enuf to support it all (my opinion anyways).
4096 colours is plenty enuf for the small screen that the N-Gage has.
That is only because the 65K screen on the T610 sucks,it has a very small resolution.Check out the 65K screen on the p900 or 6600.
Of course the p900 is a better deal but it a lot more expensive.
I also think the 4096 colour screen on the N-Gage is enough and IMO its pretty good.

I'd like to correct you here.
N-Gage has a 12bits colour screen (2^12=4096colours) and not 8bit(2^8=256colours). Also it's not only the number that counts but also the technology , the size of the pixel in dpi used and many other things. Just check 7650/3650/N-Gage with t610 or the sharp GX10. Although the t610 and the sharp have 16bit(2^16=65536) they are worst in quality.
YES... you are right 12 bits - mea culpa here 😊
So you say the quality is good 😊 phew
Thanks for the info...
So P900 is better then ?
How expensive is it ?
its 500 sim free in the UK
its also that with a 65k screen, the battery would decrease faster, and it doesn't last that long at the moment anyway. Also, wouldn't the games be bigger if they had to use 65k graphics?

indeed...not to speak off movies and stuff
I'm sure the N-gage has enough colours to enjoy any application
I don't think you would notice much difference...only in size
