It was quite expensive given the simple technology demos it comes with, I would have thought a driver on the cd would have been a given.

Sony won't give any support for it for other machines...
And by the way you can hardly use it as a webcam...(May some on-line games from EA or the upcomming Gran Tourismo 4 can, don't know). It's main use is for EYETOY games like Eyetoy Grouve. An alternative controller in other words...

its an overhyped nonsense piece of kit that isnt worth the price.
until one is capable of using it for more than bad dancing a.k.a... flailing ones limbs about in the air like a deranged umpire, i aint falling for it sony.

That's what I mean, by definition a webcam should allow me to get images onto the World Wide Web...

Whether I have to plug a network card into the ps2 or whatever I don't really care, but a webcam should be just that.

Grr.

Hi i was wonderung if it is possible 2 use a normal pc webcam on the ps2 as my eyetioy camera is broken beond repair and it's cheaper to get a pc webcam than a ps2 1
