Fm Radio For Nokia 3650

Yeah... This function would be really useful.. How come the smaller more budget phones have this and the 3650 doesnt? grr..

Radio on the 3650 is a hardware issue, not a software one. There is no app that will make radio on the 3650 available.

This issue has been discussed many times, lets make it clear!:

No Nokia Series60 device (7650,3650,3660,6600) has radioFM hardware, the only way to listen to any radio station is to install a streaming program that can do so, RealPlayer for example.
Then you connect via GPRS to that internet station and that's it.

What's the problem? MONEY! At least in Spain that's not a solution, 1Mb/month is 6� ($7.50 aprox)

Well,one Nokia Series 60 device has a FM tunner built-in,its called N-Gage 😉

N-gage rocks!!!!!!

It has been a question with my provider and one that Nokia has not yet answered. Maybe someone here knows. As we know, the N-Gage is originated to work on a Pre-Paid type of service, atleast with AT&T Wireless it is. AT&T Wireless has told me that the N-Gage should not be attempted to be used on a Post Paid account because of possible billing issues. Can anyone clearify on this? Does the N-Gage use a different billing setup that normal post-paid type phones? I've been thinking about getting the N-Gage for the longest time, but that is what has been stopping me.

The N-Gage is a regular GSM/GPRS phone; whether your plan is pre-or post-paid doesn't matter the slightest.

The only thing that matters is that your mobile subscription/plan should allow GPRS internet access (and you should have the corresponding settings), if you want to access the N-Gage Arena from N-Gage games.
