Hi, Anorthrosis. How big is the wav file that you get from the windows recorder? Is it the same size as the wav file that is converted from the pc suite?
How do you edit the wav file so you can increase the volume?
I am using some classical pieces and the play back is kinda soft on my phone.
Still trying to tweak here and there but to no avail
All my .wav are about 20sec and the size is 300kb max. Depends. 😉

a 20-sec. wav file with a 300kb size is good enough for me. About the windows sound recorder, is it built in with my os (Windows 2000 NT Pro) or do I have to download it?
I can't believe this thread is still going wow. I use Goldwave to make the wav file then upload it using the Nokia pc Suite simple it converts quick and easy. What more can you ask for

Its built-in.
My pc suite is not working with my phone. Is it any other way to upload it on my phone. I tried Handset manager but the file is very big. I see here that pc suite make files smaller. Is there any program that I can sent it on my mob ?
Thanks, Ghostdog. 😊
you can record an mp3 file with windows sound recorder, it automaticly changes file to wav
Its still a .wav file.
try dBpowerAMP Music Converter ot converts mp3 2 wav and vice versa also u can change the sound quality !
