I've just formatted and reinstalled software to my 9210. I've done this before. This time I've noticed when I press the 'Voice mailbox' button in the Tel app I get a "Note: Not found" message. Everything else seems to be working fine. I can retrieve my voice mail messages but not using this button. The fact it isn't working is bugging me (pardon the pun). It's F.W. 3.62 and my reinstall method is: format device, install File manager via PC to device, then install 'All data' SIS to internal memory and 'All memory data' to MMC.
Any help much appreciated as I've run out of ideas and inspiration. You guys are my last best hope 😊

 Arrrgggghhh... we are the last!!!! Best hope...
well... normally when u get the "Note Not Found" thingy means that the apps not there or got corrupted... perhaps the installation was not really complete??? even one missing file for the certain apps could cause this...
I had a similar problem with the speed dials. They didn't work anymore after the upgrade to 3.62 and I could not figure out what was wrong. I eventualy upgraded to 4.13 and had to do all the installation and it helped.
So, maybe, as Nosferatu meant to say, reinstall everything again... 😞
Btw Mooky, perhaps its about time to upgrade to 4.13??? this could be a sign... hehehe...
I forgot to mention speed dial does the same. 😞 Mmmm...Think I might upgrade the FW. I'm in the UK (London-area). Any one know what's the simplest and fasted method?
<BTW, the last message was by me: mooky>
Drive round to Communicaid in Cambridge with a loaded gun (baseballbat/cricket bat/sword will suffice). Then tell them you want the firmware updating *NOW*. With any luck they'll see the funny side and not call the police.
Seriously the fastest way is to book in with Communicaid and they do it on the spot for you. You just have to get there.
Mine was upgraded in an hour... but it was done here in Malaysia... and i was wearing my IRON MAIDEN "Be Quick or Be Dead..." tshirt at that time...
😃
Thanks guys. That sounds like a hassle I could do without.
I've just tried out my Orange network SIM in the 9210 and it worked fine! It must be a SIM/Network thing then, I guess :-? .
