1 week ago i got my new nokia 9210i from finland ( a freind of mine lives there)
i have bee using it ever since it was no different than the one i bought here
but yesterday after leaving my phone to charge overnight ( actually i forgot it to charge overnight) when i came back in the morning to turn the phone on and check my credits ( yah i am of those crappy ppl who don't use bill-type sim cards) i had to dial 121 imagine to my surprise that the 1 button didnt work
so i said wait man the phone is still booting up it will work in a gew seconds
i waited 30 mins and it still didnt work
after i hit it damn hard a couple of times the left soft key send button and * worked again
but 1,4,7 still didnt work
i took my 9210i to the same dealer i bought my older one from and told them to put new softeare even though the 1 i got had the latest one
this WILL be my last nokia phone

nokia 9210i keypad problems {part 2}
I think that issue rings a bell from somewhere (may not even be the 9210). I assume it didn't work after another reboot, I can't think what would cause that, but a lot of problems with the 9210 seem solvable if you treat it like windoze (i.e. format and reinstall).
it's "The Return of the Living Ribbon" or "Attack of the Killer Ribbon" or perhaps "The Ribbon who shagged Me" problem...
probably ... I think I can be proud of my little 9210 which now is going for about 2 months without rebooting 😊)

😮 WOW!!! that is really amazing...
Only problem is that Desk start consuming more and more memory 😉 But nothing that the KKK can't fix 😉
update:
i just got my 9210i back the problem will probably be back after a few hours from now
i guess i'll just have to dial the nombures from inside the phone for the time being
ps: i am waiting for something communicator like erricson
