Tested MMC cards

I have a 256 MB MMC from PQI Multimedia. 80 dollars. Good price! Great card. Works great on my N-gage, except that some time the MP3 player displays System error while accessing some Mp3 files.

256mb kingmax from Ebay,

*OK, this is actually very unstable, cant cope with a lot of things, would not recommend it !

128 MB from Nokia. I'm tempted to try a 256 so that I can have both my music and my movies on there.

256 MMC and above needs a certain level of voltage. Issues seem to occur when the power is almost exhasted on the unit, which can corrupt or confuse the MMC memory card. This is especially noticed on the Music Player which can return a system error! message. Switching off then on or in extreme cases formating the MMC should help.

Excellent work can anyone else confirm this? Ghostdog if this does get confirmed maybe you should move to new Sticky topic!

Sorry Shadow12, Guys - wrong assumption... problem is still occuring even on a full charge. I guess it's down to my card which is a PK 256mb

64MB MMC Apacer with Hitachi chipset directly from one of the local distributors from where I am 😃

I got a massive 512 MB memory card
Works great I have had no problems with it
Now have so many tunes and videos, which comes in handy being a student with so many boring lectures.

Was tempted to but the Ultimate 1 Gb memory card, but @ 400, could not really afford this, maybe when next loans comes through I may purchase one, or when it drops in price.

I got my 512 from allack.co.uk
For 129.95
Which seem a bargain in comparison with the 1 Gb memory card they sell.

Does anyone knows, are there already 1GB MMCs and where can i buy them for lowest Price.
thx in advance

256 Mb from PQI bought from www.zxpro.com - Bestr prices + cheap international shipping. My mp3 player didn't work on the 128 mb that I had, but now runs without any problem on the 256Mb.
