How To Make Ringtones Louder?

The Ringtone Is Very Quiet On Nokia 7650! I set Also The Recorder Volume To The Max!! But It Wont Help.
Anyone Have Any Ideas???

I snip MP3 files down to 15 seconds, then convert them to WAV using MixMeister 3. I then resample them in 'Sound Recorder' (Comes free with Windows) to 16hz, 8bit, Mono and then Infra-red them to my phone.

You can make them louder or quiter by adjusting the volume in Mixmeister, although most are ear piercing anyway.

I hope that helps, although I have a feeling you were askign about the tones already stored on the phone. If so, the one's which end in .MID can be opened in any music package (Cubase, Cakewalk etc.) and have their volume increased. You then just need to send them back to the phone by IrDa or Bluetooth.

The file size varies but I record 15-20 second clips which, in my previously mentioned format are about 230kb each.

The quality is as good as the 7650's speaker allows, any lower and the sound deteriorates any high quality and you get high pitched, ear busting sounds from the phone's speaker. I think i've found the optimum configuration. 😃
