you can receive picture messages but you cannot see/open them without that programm...

If I move a pic message from Inbox to another folder, then can I see it with this new app? Must the pic messages stay on the Inbox?

Pic messages can be seen in any folder.

Because Picture Mesagges is for teenagers. -Nokia Aproach- Nokia 9210 is build for mobile professionals...

I�m out of keeping 100% with Elrond.
I think that 9210 must be the perfect machine, 9210 must has all the imaginable apps and possibilities!

That�s true.But being a Mobile PRO device, one was ment to belive that they had included all of the features avalible to other Nokia phones..
And sending a loving warm picture message heart as Manowar said, is much easyer and impulsive via a pic message than taking the time to get online and recive the mail

Personaly I like this feature on my 9210..It�s great, specialy if you draw the messages yourself...

I am completely agree with all of you. I just making allusion on Nokia. I also missied some features from 9110 Picture Mesagging (AH Creations), Ring Tone Composer (From Nokia) Tetris and other funny features.
I am also angry to Nokia about GPRS. If this device had GPRS capabilities we could connect our mail servers instantly -GPRS Always Online-. When I try to connect to my emails I am paying 1 minute airtime fee for nothing. Only for connection handshaking and login process

Okay, a new app for 9210... But why did they create it only to RECEIVE pic messages.... Wasn't it better to do it all the way, and allow one to SEND pic messages too??? Plus to enable you to draw your pictures too???

Euh, by the way... I download this new app, but every time I try to use it, it says... NOTE / NOT FOUND, or something like that... I uninstall, I reinstall, I redownload, etc, etc, etc... (???)

Question. Is it me, or is it the bad net waves???

It says "not found" cos you dont have any picture messages in your message store..

I agree what you say about only receiving, but maeby someday we see new version that can handle send/receiving (logos, picture messages...) + drawing.. at least i hope so.

First of all we owe a "Thanks!" to Mertama now we have the possibility to receive picture messages ant it is for free.
Yet, I miss AH-Creations Graphic Point for 9110. Celesta Tools took over Aldo Halopainen business and never let us now anything about how they plan to proceed with Aldo's series of software.

I think there's lot of us who like to have Graphic Point, Extendet Extras... that kind of stuff in our 9210.

I used to have a program on my psion mx5 that allowed me to capture an area of screen i.e. a face, and convert it into a picture message which i could then send to my phone, or use my phones' modem to send it direct. Can anyone remember such a prog? Or did i dream it? Will there be anything similar in the 9210 pipeline?

It's your phone, samthepaokfan. I've installed the picture messaging software on 3 9210's now, and they all worked fine.

You could always use an app like Celesta MyStyle to make your own picture messages. Funny how it's sooooo easy to impress people just by drawing an operator logo or picture message on my phone.
