Nokia Series 60 Theme Studio - How to get it working in XP

Hey there. I downloaded the Theme Editor from Nokia Forum and tried your tip. However, I just cant find the compatibility tab in the file's properties though! I'm using Windows Me. Thanks for the help man.

As the thread title says, this only works for Windows XP.

It works on ME if it doesn't on your comp it means that your comp is way to SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!

hi. . . i have this nokia studio theme. . . when im saving the theme that i made it says "theme creation failed. . . see report". how am i going to save it to sis file? please help. . . thanks a lot in advance 😊

this is possibly due to one of the graphics files. I'm on a different computer right now so i can't check the exact name but the graphic file that is the highlight in a menu screen has to have a blank pixel in the top and bottom right corner if i remember right. failing that, try one of the original componants to see if it works with your theme.

Or just search the forum for detailed info on this!

they mean go to forum.nokia.com or whatever you call it and download the application

There is an bug/error with the 'List Highlight' go to Highlights/list in theme studio and edit the image so that the corner pixels (Bottom left and top right) are of the same colour,difficult to explain this but,its the bottom left corner pixel and the one next to it,and the top right corner pixel and the one below it. Hope you understand?

i can't run the theme editor on my pc its just soo slow, i cant bear it then it crashes.

No they havn't yet,
I take it you have the latest one? which is faster,but still slow. 😡

As far as the pc crashing,all you can do is increase your virtual ram,and make sure you have no programs running before you open theme studio (even better,restart before using it) but what a pain in the arse eh!

Did you go to http://forum.nokia.com/ to look first (before posting your question)?

If so, did you look at what's downloadable in the "Tools" section?

If not, did you try the "Search" field in the upper right-hand corner?

Did you try search words like:

"theme" -> 1st result is Series 40 Theme Studio download, 2nd result is Series 60 Theme Studio download

"studio" -> 2nd result is Series 40 Theme Studio download, 4th result is Series 60 Theme Studio download

"theme studio" -> 1st result is Series 40 Theme Studio download, 2nd result is Series 60 Theme Studio download
