Somewhere inside your fone, there's a symbian os6.sis file
i think siemens used it to install whats inside.
if anyone has 6600.... can u pls use fexplorer and check inside all files and folders and see if there's a symbian os7.sis file?
if there is there might b a chance that we can upgrade illegally to os7. 😃
Not a chance. None whatsoever.
You will also find that any .sis files remaining on the system is not the full installation file. These "residual" sis files only contains uninstall information and not the install files anymore. Check the size of the sis and you will see.

ey guys.....no worries!!! no offence taken!! its good to make make frends instead of enemies.
i used to have 7650...... traded for 3650.... went to smartphone with win os... then back to 6600.... now im proud of my sx1..... though it wuz upsetting that the price of the fone dropped quite fast...... im addicted to symbian...
but its the 1st time ive seen the file on the fone..... therefore such a thought...
but it would be such a bliss wont it? being able to change the os... LOL.... 😉
anyway been meddling around with more apps and games.... testing... man.... its really time consuming. 🙄
