connect my nokia3650 to my computers internet

Yeah I would like to know that to.
Is it possible to connect NOKIA 3650 to Internet trought my PC ISP via bluetooth or IR? 🙄

Just put IP adress:0.0.0.0 and ANP:none connect the 3650 via BlueTooth serial port like u do to connect to Nokia Phone Suite. Dial to ISP and that's all.
use netfront or opera to surf... 😃 :icon14:

Some application don't work,so do.Try Doris or Reqwireless WebViewer.

I use NetFront(demo ver.) from here
It should be very simple. Just connect via bluetooth on u'r pc (seral port) and lunch NetFront or some other app for web surfing :tongue:

HELLO BIGFORO, HOW ARE YOU DOING? I APPRECIATE YOUR RESPONSE TO MY PROBLEM. HOWEVER, I USE NETFRONT FULL VERSION. DOES IT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE? I'D TELL YOU IN DETAIL THIS TIME. AS FOR A NEW CONNECTION YOU TOLD TO CREATE, I DID AS THE FOLLOWING:

CONNECTION NAME : BLUETOOTH LINK

DATA BEARER: GPRS

ACCESS POINT NAME: NONE

USER NAME: NONE

PROMPT PASSWORD: NO

PASSWORD: NONE

AUTHENTICATION: NORMAL

GATEWAY I.P. ADDRESS: 0.0.0.0

ARE THESE CORRECT? DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING IN THE PC? hi alls!
i'd tried the settings and it work perfectly, but i have one problem, i connect through opera and netfront, but they say memory full, so with opera i can't open the apps, with netfront, the app start but i can open only yahoo and google for example, but i can't open tim or other site because memory full.
what can i do for memory?

the only difference with my setting is

CONNECTION NAME : BLUETOOTH LINK (i use BLUETOOTH)
ACCESS POINT NAME: NONE (i use "bt"😉

and it works but no memory 😞

Unonessunotutti,no real solution for the out of memory problem.The 3650 is very low on RAM,it has arround 3.4MB after bootup.Try restarting the phone before going online.

Try using Flight Mode option from SystemTools app (psiloc). It gives u more free memory cause u r not using the SIM card (some system procceses r not started).
It works for me when I want to play N-GAGE games :tongue: and it should work for u 😃

The serial connection must be done through mRouter (comes with nokia phone suite). The when u connect just start NetFront(no access point settings needed) and try to conneect on some wap page like wap.livescore.com :tongue: cause www page suck a lot of mem 😃 and be sure u'r connected on the internet on the PC side 🙄

IT DOESN'T WORK AT ALL. I'M BEGINNING TO LOSE HOPE THAT IT WILL WORK FOR ME. I TRIED CONNECTING VIA PC SUITE CONNECTION AND IT CONNECTS TO GPRS AND THE ERROR MSG COMES UP LIKE WHAT I TOLD EARLIER. :frown:

last time dude... :frown: DON"T use grps connection. If u'r using NetFront go to SETTINGS and scroll to CONNECTION, the Default Connection should be NONE... 🙄

yes, i use for sonicN, but in flight mode no bt available. i tried to start the app bt but it didn't work 😞

That's sad :frown: bt connection suck a lot of RAM, olny WAP sites works. There should be a way to use disk mem as a RAM...

No there isn't.Symbian OS doesn't support virtual memory.

i followed what you all said but i still cant... i'm using a nokia 7610 in singapore... i'm running on win xp sp2.. so i dont need to install the driver of the bluetooth... i'm using a billionton dongle... pls advice me what to do... the driver of the bluetooth is on the sp it self... :frown:

i have the similar problemO , i created a default profile in my 3650 , installed nokia suite and bluetooth dongle on my PC ....i can connect my phone to PC well and good ...as long as there is no dialup internet conncetion ......

but if my PC is conected to internet , and then i conect my phone , using the USB bluetooth , to my PC ....the PC internet conection drops after some 20 or 30 seconds ...mRouter stays connected ...

can some one suggest a possible solution here , i am using a PCI modem .
