Hi all
I want to develop with C++ to symbian devices.
I am new to C++ in general ( I have little experience with this language ) and very new to C++ on symbian devices.

please help me regarding the following :
what are the most recommended tools I should work with ?
( visual C++ ? CBuilder ? which sdk's ? other tools ? )
I need as much information as possible , and would be grateful for such info.

thanks a lot , Tomer 😃

Hey,

There's atutorial available at NewLC (http://www.newlc.com/article.php3?id_article=134) on how to start programming on the Symbian platform that deals with exactly these questions.

Regards, Aljaz

hello,

there is a tool called StringDB for localization of applications and multilingual applications.

it is very powerful because supports all languages and characters. (UNICODE, UTF-8)

you just fill in the MS EXcel for translation and string management.

it is also OS and platform independent.

you can check this at www.swbox.com
