I saw the Krusell Case for the 7650 a couple of days back. Has anybody else seen it and what are you comments. It was selling for S$20 (about US$10 i guess) I think. Sounds quite cheap but might have been promotional price.
I don't have a picture of it but it's made of leather with the multi-adapt clip at the back (which means you can the belt clip with any of their other cases like those for the PDA).
The mechanism is really weird though. You can access the buttons directly without opening the case. It's basically a plastic front, which has cutouts for the Qstick. But if you want to use the keyboard you need to open the 'flip' of the case (which is hinged at the bottom), and then extend the phone (the front of the phone then juts out of the top of the open case. It's really hard to explain, I should have taken a few snapshots of the thing but my phone was INSIDE the case which made it a little difficult to do that 😊
Just wondering if anybody has any thoughts of it.

People in the UK can get the official Nokia case from Vodafone stores for �19.99 or �14.99 if you're a vodafone contract owner.
omar_g, I'm not saying you're wrong, but if it's the "Official Nokia" case, then why don't Nokia have it on their website under the 7650 accessories page?

I have no idea why it's not on the website. I'll post the model number of it when i get home this evening. Its black leather, has a belt loop on the back and a round detailon the front. You cannot use the phone whilst it is in the case.
I just found out from nokia service centre that the external case replacement is around 14$US... Which is quite ok, in case the external plastic gets scratched etc. I am planning to use any case I can and not worry. (maybe a soft pouch like someone suggested in another thread)
These are pics of the official Nokia case. It is definitely for the 7650 as the insert which came with it was of a 7650 😊
The only downsides to it are:
a) the belt loop is fixed so to take it off you have to take off your belt 😞
b) the top cover partially obscures the speaker
c) You can't see your lovely desktop pic through it
It cost me �19.99 when I picked up the phone at a Vodafone store, and I am a contract customer...

I've actually seen a different design on a website today. The case I saw was similar to the sideways pouch for the 6210, from Nokia.
I didn't post it because the website was Italian. Perhaps we'll see it here in the near future.
God my typing was dreadful in my previous post. Sorry Merlin. What i'd meant to say was that the case has a "Round detail on the front" not the garbage that came out! The pics above are the same case as the one I have. It's pretty but not very functional. I was offered it for �14.99 at the Vodafone store in Plymouth two weeks ago IF I was a Vodafone customer, which I am not. Nice case, but it's not very functional. I'd love a horizontal case if one were for sale in the UK.
I've been trying to get a dedicated Nokia (OEM) 7650 leather case for the last week and a half. None of the shops here have them :x I've tried CPW, The Link, Phones4U, Vodafone, T-mobile, Orange and O2 and a couple of local vendors. These accessories seem like they're rarer than Unicorn poop :-? In the meantime I carry my 7650 in my old 7110 case/pouch.

I went into a local mobile shop yesterday (think it was CFW). They told me that there are some accessories on the horizon for the 7650. One of which is a case. They don't know what it's going to be like, but I wouldn't be surprised if the sideways pouch is the one that Nokia bring out.
They did it for the 6210 and it's designed to sit on the belt at all times, so you take the phone out of the pouch to use it. I was interested in it for my 6210 at the time. The guy told me that it was designed like that so that people get to see the phone when you're using it, rather than the case....more advertising for Nokia!
Anyhow, the only reason I didn't buy one was because it was �30 at the time. However, if the sideways pouch does come to England, I may consider it for my gorgeous 7650! 😃
ei, guys, don't mean to sound apathetic, but for me the best way to go about it is to use pouch cases for sunglasses you really dont use anymore as protective casing for our beloved 7650. hehehe... hope that made sense.
This is the nokia 7650 case i found from my local phone shop. Im not sure if it is official or any thing but it's not to bad. Only thing is it's not to good for screen protection.

I just picked up the case that stoddy shows above. It is manufactured (well, labelled) by Jag mobile stores (I got mine in Exeter) and costs �8.99.
The guy in the shop told me he'd got 8 in at the weekend and all but one had sold by monday when I went in...
I'm thinking of starting a 7650 case collection 😊
Edit: It's also designed so you can slide the phone open and use the camera while it stays in the case. I'd recommend some velcro as the base part tends to slide up when you do this.
