some intresting screenshots here, I quite like the first one.

Is it just me, but do other ppl have backgrounds on there phone.

Coz I made a folder where I got like 6 or so pictures to use as pbackgrounds, well not pictures actual backgrounds/wallpapers from PC that I use on my phone.

Anyone else sorta do this, or am I just trying to create windows on my lil 16bit phone?

btw I also doing the same thing , i have a folder called background in my images folder . and i store 10 or more pics to be use as background there :P
But i just wondering is there any software that could rotate the background picture from that folder avery other day 😞

Yeah ive been thinking the same thing, I have a sneaking suspcion that PsiLoc+ will not dounbt release and probably charge for an app to rotate the backgrounds but yes I have thought of it too, and if I knew what language and programs were used to compile apps for the phone I am pretty certain I could whip up a program for it, but I dont know so I guess well all probably be paying for an app to rotate the background daily or so.

Yeah I store them in 640 * 480, I found that the phone wouldnt make the background cover the whole edge if I didnt have it at that resolution. But yeah I have em at that resolution after spending half a day compressing the jpg as low as possible without loosing too much quality.

I think all my pics are roughly 35 - 50kb.

all :P , you can keep your background pics in 174 x 132 pixels and still have the pic till the edge of the screen :P but the quality will be lower
but hey!!!
its only about 6 to 10 kb per pics!!! :P

hrmm im not surprised it was just on some occasions when I had a pic under 640, it seemed to not go all the way to the edges.

but yeah I dont think ill sell out that much image quality. I like my backgrounds to look impressive, especially on the LCD screen, wont be tgat impressive if there distorted and disorientated.

How are people getting graphics on the top bar of the phone? Like the sunnies, or "Armageddon" graphic, etc.

Tried playing around with settings but didn't find anything intuitive.

Can you tell us (and specifically, like where in what menu does it allow it?)

im not 100% sure but im fairly certain they are the Operator Logos. its just you can put pictures as operator logos on the colour phones instead of those 2bit dodgey lik black and white pics you usew to be able to have as operator logos.
