He must have a REALLY big 7650 screen 😉

Err does not work for me 😮ops: haahaa, anyway in the screensaver menu-set to animation ... then in animation page, there's a Animated GIF option, which says "no files" ... so how can i put a file in? ( Because when I click it, it said " No animated images!".

To those who cannot see their animated gif - make sure that it still has the .gif file extension after you have uploaded it. I changed the name of mine and did not put the .gif extension when doing so and as a result could not see it. As soon as I added the .gif it appeared and worked fine

Grrr  , now I know why!!! the cartoon given above is a .jpg image

Hahaha 😃

if its the little man on the "loo" then just change thefile extension on your saved file from .jpg to .gif and I think you will fing it works!

I am having a few probs with this ! is any one else getting the following ...

Have shut phone off several times and there is nout running in the background but after the first couple of times it ran ok then it just went AWOL ! what i mean by this is that the initial screensaver ( time and date ) appears over my animation one, if i press joystick in any way it works ok but seems silly to have to do that !

See if you like this one i found !

Dear god - the grand days of 'Super Mario World'

STAR ROAD!

And then once you did star road there was some magical star in the center that teleported you to mario world in the autumn? (or was there another level you had to complete first?)

And those lock and keys, ingenius! 😃

so happens 2 my one.
But only,if i got a incomming missed call,or sms/mms:
i think, then the original want tell us,that there is a message
also if i try 2 set new after a missed call/sms/mms,
there is only a small screen open, that shows behind the S-Saver.
If i make a rebooth,it works new fine.
I hope, psiLOC also read here somethimes,so they can here our nice kritik 2 put the bugs out.
Ps:also its not very usabel,if a calls entry,and the S-saver hold on.
Better he disappears,so we cout see imediatly witch person is on the line.
Smi

yeah me working too but sometimes the original screen saver is shown first before the animated one, maybe its a busg on the trial version , hopefully it will be more stable in the full version :P
anywae its a good software i think :P

Simple and silly question: How do I download an animated gif? When I for example rightclick the Mario-gif and "save" I have only one picture on my hard disc, and its not animated.

Nice little software but its a battery killer,i left it in screensaver mode for about 8 hours and guess what ? i got an battery empty warning and then the phone did a shut down, nice one huh ?

The image on your hard drive will not animate

either open it up in animation studio package or stick it on your phone to see it ! ( PS when it is on your phone as they are animated and slightly largerr in some instances to be bigger than normal they will take a few seconds to kick in ! )

Give it a whirl but yes this does suck the battery power !

Be a good option to be able to animate the picture one cylcle every X seconds incase the battery is getting drained so quick ! JUST MY 2 CENTS !

Although not animated, if you load it into Internet Explorer, it will animate. Likewise, just send it to your 7650 and the ScreenSaver app will animate it for you.

But I agree with the others, it does kind of knock the battery power down a bit, particularly the animated GIFR. However, it makes for some nice eye candy and the other options are handy to have, particularly if you want to show off to someone.

I've convinced a few people now that they want a 7650. Dang it though, I am trying to sell my Casio Wrist Camera, but once people see my phone, they don't want to know because the 7650 is so cool!

isnt the bulit in screensaver placed in the z: drive somewhere as a application? in that case you probably can put an other application i the c: drive with the same path as the file on z: and fool the system so it finds your application instead of the original one, but that's another question, fancy screensavers still drains your battery ...

i've had homer eating a cake here for a day now and the battery drops faster than ever 😊

hey everybody😊 do you have to buy the program to get the animated feature in d screen saver?

NO I found this last night they have updated the version , re download it again and reinstall and you will get animation + starburst and fireworks too.

hope this helps

Hmmm...
Questioning this logic.

Isn't the CPU more or less always running? Unless its one of those fancy new cpus, don't CPUs by their nature always have to execute some instruction, even if its a continuously looping NOP? The clock, alarms, phone monitoring bits, etc. would always be using it I'd imagine, so does it matter if the screen saver is using some of those spare CPU cycles?

With regards to the screen, provided the back light is off, isn't the screen always using power to some degree regardless of the amount of activity happening on it? I guess that changing the state of pixels would use power, but I'm wondering how much.

It would be interesting to do a test of a fully charged battery on a phone with and without the SS active, to judge battery consumption. Disabling the phone features would give a more equal test too.

dir.

It is the degree to which the CPU runs. If it is normally @ 10%, then with a changing .gif on the screen, it may be 25%
