Ladies and gentlemen,
I'm now sharing my newly, "Modified AgileMessenger v2.10 6600version files with new MSN-QQ-Messenger emotion icons" for all the users in the great AAS forum. 😊 :icon14:
And the objective to the modification was to match AgileMessenger v2.10 emotion expression pictures with those on the MSN-Messenger.
And in the new modification files, I'd make used of those very familier emotion pictures from MSN-Messenger and some from the QQ chat program.
Below were the details of the modification to AgileMessenger v2.10 6600-Edition :
1. Replaced all ugly AgileMessenger v2.10 emotion expression pictures with those from MSN-Messsenger and some of them from QQ (as some QQ one look better than the one from MSN)
2. Solved the problem of sending AgileMessenger v2.10 emotion pictures from mobile to PC MSN-Messenger but could not displayed or matching.
3. Solved the problem of sending PC MSN-Messenger emotion pictures to mobile AgileMessenger v2.10 but could not displayed or matching.
I seriously hope that everyone in AAS with a 6600 will like my newly modified emotion files.
Attached below was the AgileMessenger.v2.10.6600.NewEmotion.0418.zip file
Please unzip it and copy the AgileMessenger.mbm and AgileMessenger.app files to the directory that AgileMessenger installed on your phone and overwrite existing files. Well maybe you want to rename original files before overwriting them if you decided to use back the original one. It's you're choice brother! 😉

Personally I think the original Agile Messenger smileys are much cooler, but great work nonetheless! Would these modified emoticons work on other S60 phones as well? Would it be possible to make it so that you could easily switch between the original smileys and these new MSN smileys? That way you'd have twice as many emoticons to choose from...

Well, I just tried to replace just the .mbm file containing the smileys in my version 2.00 of Agile Messenger running on an N-Gage with the one that you provided (NOT replacing the .app file) and it actually works, although there are some minor display flaws.
I've attached a couple of screen grabs to show that it works, and where the "display flaws" lies. There are 4 emoticons missing in the little window which have been replaced by two "status" icons, the little arrow icon and the envelope icon. But it's still nice with a change, and to see that it works 😊

Please upgrade to v2.10 version as both version of AgileMessenger *.mbm file contained different amount of pictures that's why you've created that "display flaw". 😉
I would, but unfortunately v.2.10 does not work with 'Jabber' -which is the client I mostly use. I've reported it to the Agile people, but will have to keep using 2.0 until they fix it.
Good work. I like the MSN icons, I think the Agile ones are quite ugly!
