This bug is because the Sms-report.

only deactivate it, and the main-error is gone.

I get this now and so does my mate on his 3650. We're both on o2 network. I have double checked and sms-report is off, o2 doesnt support reports anyway. Weird.

Mmmh, weird, at my friends phone this was the reason 4 this main-error...

My 6600 never have any problems...

maybe it would be the best way, to remove all the apps, make a backup and then format first the mmc and later the phone.
(dont forget to delete the password 4 the mmc, if there is some, and full up the batterie bevore the hardreset.)

Know u can restore all the contacts, mails, etc, but dont activate the button with all datas and settings, only activate the buttons 4:
the contacts, Calendar and Datas and picture to save them back.
(like this the error will not be save back on phone.)

at last u can install all the programs u need again.

like this the error should be away.

:icon2: PLEASE HELP ME! I am an Italian and you excuse my bad English but I am in despair ! I have a NOKIA 6600 and when ON phone appear the Err Message: APP MAIN CLOSED thing I must do? how can I solve it? please help TANK there!

i am using a N3660 and had experienced the same problem some time ago. i first noticed the problem when i tried to add voice tags to my contacts. initially, i thought it was the apps that i have installed that is causing the problem. thus, i formatted my phone. i did not install any app after that. i have managed to add some voice tags to my contacts before the same problem came back.

i am running out of ideas here. i have been thinking of upgrading my firmware. then again, i just got my phone some two months ago. any suggestions from you guys in here?

hello all very helpful forum, i have the same prob with my phone all of a sudden and i tried stopping the sms reports but it still does the same message at start up, and sometimes all of a sudden programs stop working for no reason the try to open then just go back to menu would appreciate and help largyros

It's nothing to do with SMS reports...

I have the same problem, and never use SMS reports.

Looks like bugs in the firmware.

Is this also happening with the V4.xx firmware ?

Well guys I had this problem on my SX1 and it dissapeared after removing some Psiloc Apps. I don't remember which were the exact apps.

After all I had many problems with Psiloc's Applications, and I am sure the problem is related with at least one of them...

There are a lot of reasons that can cause this mysterious problem.
(Yeah, it is like the Blue Screens in Windows 😃 )

Bad applications, or even files.

For me, it started when I back-uped (by copying) a file from the System\Apps folder to the a personal folder I have created with the name E:\Documents.

I could never imagine that this could be the reason, but when I deleted this file from E:\Documents, the error stopped.

Just do *#0000# on your phone and the firmware version will show. The latest I think is V4.09.1 ( had mine done on Saturday).
