eMessaging problem...

I got eMessaging yesterday. All went ok with the order and registration. Problem is the Flash SMS does not work and neither does blinking SMS. Any ideas?

Remember that not all phones can do anything with Flash and Blinking SMS, and that included the 9200.

😃 Hi, i got both of the apps... Emessaging and MyStyle... and yes the FLASH SMS for eMessaging is not working quite well... compared to MyStyle... FLASH SMS can actually be received by most phones... and like what TANKERx described, not all phone can read Blinking SMS...

I love sending FLASH SMS, thats why i'm using MYStyle at the moment... plus MyStyle can upload OP LOGO to your 9210 without having to sms to yourself!!! 😉

Mmmm. Looks like I might of got the wrong software..doh 😞
I guess I should look at mystyle. Thanks chaps for your promt reply 😃

emessaging's Flash SMS works -- but not 100% ok, i think it still has some bugs.

i guess when you send it, you gotta manually press "send" at outbox coz this normally stays on a "waiting" status. HTH. :-?

i've tested it and the receiver receives the msg as a "flash msg"...

blinking msgs - it depends on the recipient phone you are sending too. very few nokia phones receive blinking msgs correctly... 😉

On the 9110 the app was blinking and what part did not blink?
Cant this be done here with eMessage?
Been looking but cant find anything in the use guide!

i think on emessaging's blinking msg -- you won't see the blinking on your unit... it will just be on the recipient's end... 😉

That is the way blinking SMS works. You will only see it blinking in your phone if you send the message to yourself... 😊

perhaps mine was the early version that has not bugfixed yet??? i got it when it was first launched... and then switched to mystyle and been using it till now... anyway i still think mystyle is better choice...
