Problem in Running Helloworld in P900

Hi,
I am Anto (an italian student) and new to the symbian world.

I am trying to run the sample application(Helloworld) provided by the SDK (Series UIQ 7.0 v2.1) on SonyEricsson P900, but (during installation) getting an incompatible warning (message: this application is incompatible with this device)and my application is not installing. I haven't changed any code in the example. I am using this package file:

In C:\Symbian\UIQ_21\examples\toolsandutilities\helloworld.pkg

I write and excute this command line:
makesis helloworld.pkg

Note: Makesis included in sdk UIQ 2.1 package is 2.0v... It's good for my P900 or not? :?
Exist Makesis.exe 2.1 version?

If some one could help me I will be greatful.

Thanks & Regards
Anto 😊 😊 😊

Hey,

Possibly the P900 has a different plaform UID. Check the SDK or .pkg files of any other sample applications to determine the correct UID for P900.
