i'm looking for a replacement for the standard camcorder software on my 6600,
i've spotted ETI Camcorder Pro and Philips Camcorder Pro - which of these (or any others..?) are the best!?
Features i'm looking for include
- 6600 support most importantly with full features
- Extended recording time
- Good sound
- Variable or high frame rate
- multi format recording
Adam,Philips Comcorder Pro is awesome but it doesn't work on the 6600,only ETI camcorder works on the 6600 if you have the latest firmware installed.Search the forum,this topic has been coverd in great deal.

Hi...I've been looking everywhere to buy the ETI Camcorder Pro for my Nokia 6600. I even emailed the company, but they sent me a link to a german website (I can't read german). Are there any english sites at all?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi...appreciate the effort, but that link is broken... :frown: in other words, when you try to buy the item in the On-Line shop, it says that my-symbian no longer carries the program. On top of that, the trial version that comes with it doesn't work - I had a dickens of a time trying to figure out how to remove the broken trial version from my phone and had to use FEExplorer to manually remove everything. I figured out how to get a working trial version from the German site www.smartsam.de, but can't read enough german to go ahead and purchase the darn program. :frown:

go to http://babelfish.altavista.digital.com/ and type in the website you need at the bottom then select German to English click translate it will open the page in english

I have Philips Camcorder Pro on my 6600 1.03 and it works perfect.
If u have the lateset firmware v5.2x no problems with the app. 😉

Firmware: v 3.42.1 and camcorder pro works fine on my phone
