The main reason will be that the 9210 only can display 4096 colors.

I noticed you used /c16 for every picture you convert.
Included in this post are your 2 archives in 1 archive with more appropiate settings:
/c16 for the colour icons of the first set
/1 for the masks
/c8 for the cartoon icons

it's in the readme's he supllies.
Just copy the extraicons.mbm to c:\system\apps\home\
And be sure to first copy your extraicons.mbm file to your pc
