Wave as a ring tone

I have uploaded a .wav to my phone, but I can't find the option to use it as a ringtone in profiles 😞

Do I need special software for this??

I'm not too sure if you can use wav files for ringtones, I know you can use Midi files, it saves them in your recorded, but they show in your profiles automaticaly.

You can use Wav files, save them after you open them from your inbox.

I've posted a highly detailed explanation of how to use Wav files twice in the last two weeks. You'll find them a couple of pages back in this forum.

I read your guides for creating them - and I have them on my phone. I moved them from INBOX to 'personal folder'. But I cant find a post telling me how to add them to my profile settings 😞

Open the text message with the WAV file in. It will open up in the 'recorder' program. Select 'options' and then hit 'save'.

The sound is now avalible in your profiles' ringtones list.

If you dont get as far as the sound opening in Recorder then change the format you saved it in (Bitrates, Compression method etc. should be as described in the previously mentioned post).
